The fact that you’re reading this means you may be wondering about the history of pineapples. Unfortunately, I cannot satisfy your hunger for pineapple knowledge. A better question is, “Why is this blog titled after a fruit?” Sadly, I’m not sure I have a great explanation for that either, other than the fact that if I were a fruit, I’d be a pineapple.
Just like a pineapple, I’m complicated. What you see first isn’t all there is to me. Sure, some people are put off by my sometimes blunt, abrasive, or aggressive exterior, but those who try to know me find me to be a mixture of attributes (sweet, acidic, refreshing, tart, unusual) with a hard core that tends to be a little spicy. So whatever you think of me or my opinions, don’t worry. I’ve heard it all before. I try to be real and say what I truly believe, even if it’s not popular. I hope you’ll find my posts funny and genuine and maybe even helpful, from time to time. If not, that’s okay too.
Oh, and if you really want to read about the history of pineapples, you should try wikipedia. I hear they have oodles of great information there…
